Salmon Fishing

FISHING

The beauty of having both Georgian Bay & Lake Huron so close is that most times - if the water is rough on Georgian Bay - the waters should be calmer on Lake Huron - and visa versa. It is NOT a rule - but a good bet! Fishing is good in both Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. Salmon, Lake trout, rainbows, splake - all these fish can be caught from shore or from a boat with a down-rigger. Inland - there are many quiet brooks where brook trout and browns can be fly-fished. There are a few fishing charters available in the area.
